System Shock remake will now be published by Prime Matter, coming in 2022 - potterwizance
Publisher Prime Matter has proclaimed it's partnering with Nightdive Studios to help unfreeze the upcoming System Shock remake in 2022.
In a press release, Nightdive CEO and father Stephen Kick gave a statement happening the go around. "System Shock has been a true labor of love and our finish has e'er been to fork over a game that is arsenic close to perfect as we can make it. We're excited to partner with Prime Matter to achieve that goal and see this as an grand pace in the growth of Nightdive Studios."
Kick said the deal would "tolerate us to offer System Electric shock to fans totally over the globe, some in digital and material goods formats, too as fully laurels our commitments to our fans and, in especial, to our thousands of supporters happening Kickstarter, without whom this game would rich person never been possible."
The remake of the classic 1994 Looking Shabu FPS has been in development for quite some time, shadowing a successful Kickstarter in 2016. It suffered roughly setbacks in the years that followed, and it'd glucinium 2020 before we'd get something substantial with the release of new videos. A show arrived in February with a view to a summer 2021 release, but all went quiet until now.
Instantly, with a publishing agreement in localize, some parties intend to release the System Shock remake "along Microcomputer and consoles" next year. In related intelligence, it came to friable in October that a live carry through Organization Appall TV series is in development for the Binge network.
